Connect with the coast
Connect with the coast in the ‘winterless North’, known for its subtropical climate. Take a boat trip through the ‘Hole in the Rock’ in the Bay of Islands, or swim with the dolphins. Karikari Peninsular is beach perfection with expanses of white sandy beaches. Feel the sand between your toes, or take to the water to swim, fish and dive in great scenic locations like Doubtless Bay, Coopers Beach, Cable Bay, Taipa Tokerau Beach and Maitai Bay. The water still has a way to warm up before summer temperatures, but it's crystal clear at this time of year and right on our doorstep.

Explore Cape Reinga
Visit Cape Reinga, New Zealand’s northernmost point, where oceans collide and spirits depart for home.
